openDoor access control system

Want to open the front, apartment or back doors even without a key? The MACO openDoor access control systems offer this operating convenience with different system versions. Delivery includes pre-assembled cables. The openDoor access control systems are reliable function partners for the PROTECT Z-TA Comfort 3-latch door lock. The formula for success is: security with the Z-TA + easy operation with openDoor = optimum convenience.

Four versions

The house or apartment is accessed via the reader unit using a car key, transponder chip or card. The reader unit is embedded directly into the door leaf externally, while the control unit is directly integrated into the door profile. Almost all car brands are compatible with this solution. Multiple car keys, transponder chips or cards can be read.
Allows access to the house or apartment using a four to six digit numerical code. The stainless steel reader unit is embedded directly into the door leaf externally, while the control unit is directly integrated into the door profile.
Allows access to the house or apartment by scanning a fingerprint. The reader unit is embedded directly into the door leaf externally, while the control unit is directly integrated into the door profile. The infrared remote control supplied permits a reset to the factory settings (rapid reset for new stored settings).
As a classic surface-mounted solution, the reader unit is installed externally on the wall next to the door directly adjacent to the door lock. The house or apartment is accessed via the reader unit using a car key, transponder chip or card. The control unit is installed inside. Almost all car brands are compatible with this solution. Multiple car keys, transponder chips or cards can be read.

Protected against tampering, easy to understand and a breeze to install

openDoor is protected against unwanted tampering. The control unit of all three versions is located inside the house: for a surface-mounted solution, this is in the wall next to the front door and for a door leaf-integrated solution, it is integrated directly in the internal door leaf. Users quickly learn how to use their new access control version thanks to the succinct operating instructions which are even easy for laypersons in electrical systems to understand. The connectors between the motor, operating unit and control unit have been kept so simple that any door manufacturer can easily connect them themselves.
