    PAS24 Testing
PAS24:2022+A1:2024 Enhanced security performance requirements for doorsets and windows in the UK – Doorsets and windows intended to offer a level of security suitable for dwellings and other building exposed to comparable risk.
The PAS24 is a British security standard that sets out rigorous testing requirements for doors and windows to ensure they can withstand attacks from opportunistic burglars. This standards includes a range of test methods that must be carried out where applicable. These include: Manual Cutting Test (door-specific), Manual Check Test, Manipulation Test, Mechanical Loading Test, Soft & Hard Body Impact Tests (door-specific), Infill Manual Test, Infill Mechanical Test.
    BS6375 Air & Water Testing
The BS6375 standards cover a wide range of performance criteria and often work in conjunction with other standards such as PAS 24. However, our focus is on BS 6375 Parts 1 and 2. The air and water testing rig performs assessments in accordance with the following standards: BS EN 12207 (Windows and doors – Air permeability), BS EN 12208 (Windows and doors – Watertightness), BS EN 12210 (Windows and doors – Resistance to wind load), BS EN 12046-2:2000 (Operating forces – Doors), and BS EN 12046-1:2020 (Operating forces – Windows).
